Windmills are ugly and kill bats.

    Do your own homework.

wow ugly is just an opinion sir. i have seen a lot of farmers who will change their land to “wind farming” because they make more money from that. also wing is renewable, it dosent get destroyed everytime you harvest it.

The benefit of wind energy is that, after the initial investment in windmills and generators to convert wind energy into electrical energy, wind energy is largely free. It’s just a matter of having the wind blow through the windmills.

One of the major drawbacks of wind energy is that wind power generation requires a flat surface. Landscapes containing mountains, ridges, hills and other things that break the flow of the wind are not suitable for wind power.

Another drawback is that it takes a number of windmills to get adequate power generation. One windmill doesn’t provide that much energy.

A third drawback in the construction of the windmills and generators. Because wind farms require a large number of windmills on a flat landscape, the farms have to be built in remote areas. Also, a number of suitable areas have fragile ecosystems. While the windmills are ecofriendly, the roads and access points to the windmills, required during construction and for maintenance, can do major damage to the ecosystem. Also, construction of wind farms can create significant carbon footprints.
