The majority of historians don’t consider Egyptian papyrus to be paper which by definition is a material made of cellulose pulp. Papyrus ‘paper’ is made from cut-up papyrus plant. Writing on Papyrus is considered the same as writing on tree bark or animal skin.

it isnt the heaters that make the food mediocre tasting. its the long shelf life required of such products that makes them bland and mushy for the most part.

Americans had self heating cans. They just fell out of favor after the second world war and were forgotten. They were at first described as novel, but later as overpriced and mediocre tasting (Early use was back in the 1900s).

This isn’t “China’s Latest Invention.” This has been out for 1-2 years now. Also, China wasn’t the first to use/create self heating meals, it was the IFT(Institute of Food Technologies) which is a U.S military based program. You’re whole “Chinas Latest Invention” heading is therefor incorrect, negatively reflecting the professionalism on your journalism.
